Dr. Mónika Kertész

She earned her medical degree from the University of Pécs in 1989 and has been working at the hospital in Nagykanizsa ever since. In 1994, she passed her board certification in rheumatology and physical therapy, after which she worked in the hospital’s Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Department. She obtained her board certification in geriatrics in 2006. Since December 2011, she has served as the head of the Geriatrics Department at the Kanizsai Dorottya Hospital. In addition, she sees patients at the rheumatology clinic and has been running a private rheumatology practice since 2007. Within this scope, she treats inflammatory polyarthritis, connective tissue diseases, osteoporosis, and degenerative musculoskeletal conditions, and performs chondroprotective treatments. Through his work in the chronic internal medicine department, he treats patients across an extremely broad spectrum, including cases in internal medicine, neurology, rheumatology, and traumatology.

 

Dr Varga Zsuzsanna

She earned her medical degree from the University of Pécs in 1996 and completed her board certification in neurology in 2002. She passed her licensure exam in neurosonology in 2014 and in vascular neurology in 2015. She is a member of several professional societies (Hungarian Stroke Society, Hungarian Neurosonology Society, Hungarian Parkinson’s Society, Hungarian Headache Society) and regularly participates in their conferences and continuing education programs. She is the chief physician in the neurology department at the Nagykanizsa Hospital.

 

Dr Mendly József

In 1982, he obtained his general medical degree from the University of Pécs Medical School, then began working in the Radiology Department of Veszprém County Hospital. He then worked at the Radiology Clinic of the University of Pécs Medical School until he obtained his radiology specialist qualification. He also obtained a specialist qualification in neurology at the Neurology Department of Veszprém County Hospital, and was then entrusted with the management of the X-ray and ultrasound departments at the Barcs City Specialist Clinic. Since 1992, he has been employed by the Diagnostic Center of the University of Kaposvár and, since its transformation, by the József Baka Diagnostic Center of the Kaposi Mór County Hospital, where, in addition to evaluating CT and MR examinations, he also conducts scientific work related to their practical application. He was head physician of the Radiology Department at Dombóvár Hospital for one year, then at Kanizsai Dorottya Hospital in Nagykanizsa from 1998 to 2014. Since 2015, he has been working at the PET Center of PET-Medicopus Kft., where he deals with newer, multimodal imaging diagnostic methods.

 

Dr Adel Rashed

In 1997, he obtained his general medical degree from the University of Pécs Medical School, then began working at the hospital in Nagykanizsa. In 2003, he passed his specialist exam in radiology. Between 2003 and 2008, he worked at the MRI Center of the Diagnostic, Oncological Radiology, Research, and Education Center in Kaposvár. Since 2008, he has been involved in the work of the MRI laboratory at Zala County Hospital. He is currently the head physician of the Radiology Department at Kanizsai Dorottya Hospital. He is a member of the Hungarian Radiological Society, the Hungarian Neuroradiological Society, and the European Society of Radiology (ESR). His work focuses on the role of MRI diagnostics in central nervous system disorders and bone and joint diseases, as well as in the differential diagnosis of abdominal disorders.

 

Dr Békési Cyprián

He obtained his general medical degree in 1983 and then began working at the hospital in Zalaegerszeg. In 1990, he passed his specialist exam in orthopedics. He has been working at the Kanizsai Dorottya Hospital in Nagykanizsa since 2006. As a chief orthopedic surgeon, he provides comprehensive care for both inpatients and outpatients.

 

Dr Kiss Tünde

In 1997, she earned her degree in general medicine from the University of Pécs Medical School, after which she began working in the internal medicine department at the Nagykanizsa Hospital. Through her work in the general internal medicine department, she treated patients with gastroenterological, endocrinological, and cardiological conditions. In 2005, whe passed her board certification in internal medicine, after which she began to focus more intensively on cardiology within the field of internal medicine and passed her board certification in cardiology in 2014. She currently works as a chief physician in the Cardiology Department. She regularly participates in internal medicine and cardiology continuing education courses and conferences, both as a participant and as a presenter. Her main areas of interest include lipidology and non-invasive, internal medicine-oriented cardiology: coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension, and echocardiographic (heart ultrasound) diagnostics.

 

Dr Mitache András

He obtained his general medical degree in 2002 and then began working at the hospitals in Nagyatád and Nagykanizsa. From 2017 to 2020, he was the acting head of the internal medicine department at the KMOK Marcali Hospital. Since March 2021, he has been a private specialist. Professional exams: Internal Medicine in 2010. Endocrinology in 2013. Palliative Hospice License in 2015. His main areas of interest are thyroid and parathyroid diseases, obesity, insulin resistance, diabetes, female and male infertility, menstrual disorders, abnormal hair growth, erectile dysfunction, and the endocrine aspects of high blood pressure. He is a member of the Hungarian Endocrine Society. Languages spoken: Hungarian, English, German, Romanian.

 

Dr Faricsné Hári Vera

She graduated as a dietitian from the Faculty of Health Sciences at Semmelweis University in 2014. She began her career at the Marcali branch of the Kaposi Mór Teaching Hospital in Somogy County. As the sole therapeutic dietitian, she provided dietary care for all inpatients and outpatients at the institution. Through the health promotion office, she participated in health days organized for the general public. In 2019, she became a member of the Dietetics Service at Kanizsai Dorottya Hospital. (Departments: Children's Department, Intensive Care Department, Psychiatry) She participated in the development of dietary treatment applied after bariatric surgery (weight loss surgery) performed in the General Surgery Department. Since 2020, she has been the head of the food service department at the Kanizsai Dorottya Hospital in Nagykanizsa, and since September 2022, she has been reforming the dietary system at the institution as the professional head of the Dietetic Service. Her main areas of care include: dietary care for diabetic patients, dietary treatment for weight loss, dietary treatment for inflammatory bowel diseases, digestive system diseases, gynecological conditions (PCOS, endometriosis), food allergies and intolerances (including histamine intolerance, fructose intolerance/malabsorption disorder).

 

Dr. Bence Tamás Erdődi

He graduated as a general practitioner from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Pécs in 2018. He is an employee at the Kanizsai Dorottya Hospital in Nagykanizsa, where he began working in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department in 2018 and has been a member of the Urology Department since May 2019. During his residency, he also gained experience in emergency patient care. She is a regular participant and speaker at lectures aimed at the general public; she considers health promotion and the widespread dissemination of information on cancer prevention to be important. In outpatient care, he focuses on the diagnosis of kidney stone disease, the evaluation of lower urinary tract symptoms, and the evaluation of urological tumors. In surgical practice, he primarily performs kidney and ureteral stone surgeries, laparoscopic kidney and ureteral surgeries, as well as prostate surgeries.
